Darren graduated from Stranmillis University College in July 2002 with a Bsc (Hons) in Health and Leisure.

As part of Darren's course he went on placement with the Down Lisburn Trust Lisburn Health Promotion Department. It was during this placement that his intrerest in Health Promotions was triggered.

Prior to taking up post with ASHLC. Darren worked as a Community Health Worker in Downpatick in an Investing in Healthier Communities Demonstration Project.

Darren is a qualified walking leader who also organises stress management courses and also smoking cessation classes.

rosie has done a lot of work in the community, she started up a womens group in ligoniel last year, and works with street representitives all over ardoyne, as wellas doing some voluntary work for the community

she has worked in england, mainley in manchester and birmingham. she has also worked for the ardoyne association advice centre. where she is on the ardoyne association board as secretary, helping and interacting within the community.

she is excited and enthusiastic she is in the gym programme and hopes to take part in all the projects in the future
